Bridging the Gap for Art Opportunities
The Aspiring Artists Kids' Extension™
(Aspiring Artists’ student, Connor, age 10 assists Ms.

Aspiring Artists held a fundraiser to benefit Neptune
Youth in July of 2006. Young artists wanted to give other young artists
the same art opportunity that they just had, so Aspiring Artists' students
exhibited their impressionistic masterpieces in a gallery-like fashion
in Spring Lake, NJ raising over $1500.00 for Neptune's Youth. Debra
Stasiak used the fundraiser's profit to offer a week long summer camp
at Neptune's Housing Authority. The Neptune Youth were grateful to Aspiring
Artists' students for providing the funds necessary to run the camp.
The fundraiser also helped Aspiring Artists' students further develop
their sense of social consciousness, for students realized that they
could make a positive difference in our world by providing positive
art experiences. It was a heart warming event that Aspiring Artists
plans to make a yearly tradition.
The Aspiring Artists' Kids' Extension will choose a
different charity each year, so Aspiring Artists' students can help
"bridge the gap" for other children who desire the same art
experiences.
